Fat transfer or filler , witch is better for skin rejuvinate
Fat injection or filler? Which is better for skin rejuvenation? In this post, we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of fat injection and filler injection methods. Be with Dr. Abbas Ashrafzadeh
Liposuction is better for rejuvenation, but based on my many years of experience, I can say that “filler injection” is better than fat injection.
Now why is filler injection better? The filler injection is much more accurate and fit, we know exactly how much filler we inject in the filler injection.
In fat injection, because fat is absorbed by the skin, it makes us even inject fat several times.
Liposuction can not be controlled, all the fat in your injection may be absorbed, half the fat may be absorbed which causes us to inject again, it may not be absorbed at all.
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) reports that soft tissue fillers, with 2.6 million injections,
were ranked as the second most popular minimally invasive procedure in the United States last year.
Cosmetic fat injection experienced one of the largest increases overall, an increase of 13% over the previous year.

Fat Transfer or filler
Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer, is the process of removing fat from one part of the body and reinjecting it into another,
in this case, the face. The procedure begins with a mini liposuction of an area with extra fat,
typically the hips, thighs, or abdomen. The harvested fat is then purified and prepared for injection.
As a final step, the fat is injected into the face to plump areas with lost volume and fill out wrinkles.
When is a fat graft better than a filler?
The results of fat injections can be more natural than fillers, but if all goes well, this method is a little more difficult than filler injections. The fat transfer method can be used to correct the cheeks, eyelids, and of course there are other points that can be used with a doctor’s diagnosis. For example, fat injections can be used on the cheeks or lips and jaw line.
Disadvantages of fat transfer
Liposuction has the disadvantage that it may sometimes require multiple injections or correction.
Fat is absorbed by the body and if the injected fat is absorbed, we need to make corrections and even have a new injection.
But if all goes well and fat is absorbed normally, it can have great results.
Benefits of fat transfer
Fat injection as a great way to rejuvenate the face has many benefits that we will mention below. پ
1- Fat injection is natural and unlike fillers and gels, it can be combined with other fats and have more natural and lasting results.
2 – The part from which fat is removed, contoured and looks thinner.
3- Fillers are adaptable and can be injected in any area of the face and even used instead of Botox to eliminate lines and wrinkles.
4 – Fat is a great source of stem cells, and will help further rejuvenation.
Negative points of fat transfer instead of filler
- Fat transfer is more expensive than filler injection because it is more complicated.
- More treatment sessions may be needed to achieve the desired result.
- The results of fat transfer are immediate, but it may take weeks for the swelling to go away and then see the results
